Events at Minhaj

Minhaj National English School is a skill-based school. Every child has God's given skills or multiple skills. One child is not best at studying but he or she may be best at other activities. Knowing the pupils' interests and inner skills is vital before planning for future studies. Sometimes parents and pupils never get to know the skills when they are admitted to a course for future study. They choose a course that will be different from their skills and they will not be satisfied in the future. This makes their lives upset. Here, we held many skill-based activities to identify the inner skill of the students. We guide and train teachers to find pupils' skills. Teachers observe and motivate pupils, which makes them competent and also increases. We also give rewards to students for encouragement.

Following are the different events which are held in our school.

Multicultural Festivals Celebration

India is a land of diverse cultures and religions, and it is home to numerous multi-religious festivals that are celebrated with great enthusiasm and joy. These festivals not only bring people from different religions and communities together but also promote unity and harmony among them. Holding multicultural festivals in school celebrations has numerous benefits for students and staff. Multicultural festivals provide an opportunity for students to learn about different cultures and traditions, helping to promote diversity and understanding. By celebrating the traditions and customs of different cultures, multicultural festivals help create an inclusive environment in which all students feel valued and respected. We celebrate festivals like Diwali, Holi, Eid, Christmas, etc. We organize various activities and competitions and provide snacks to every student to celebrate the different festivals.

Teacher's Day

Teacher’s Day is an important day to acknowledge and appreciate the significant role that teachers play in shaping our lives and society. This day recognizes the hard work, dedication, and commitment that teachers put in to educate and guide their students. They are role models, mentors, and guides who help to shape the character, values, and future of their students. Teachers inspire, challenge, and motivate their students to be their best selves, to strive for excellence, and to make a positive impact in the world. Celebrating Teacher’s Day in school can be a fun and meaningful way to show appreciation for teachers. Students participate in skits, songs, or speeches to honor their teachers and show their appreciation for them. The school administration also organizes a special ceremony to award outstanding teachers and recognize their contributions.

Color day Celebration

Color plays a vital role in our lives, affecting our emotions, perceptions, and behaviors. Colors can affect our moods and emotions. For example, warm colors like red, orange, and yellow can evoke feelings of excitement and energy, while cool colors like blue and green can create a sense of calmness and relaxation. We celebrate different colors celebration in every month for nursery students to identify the different colors. Students wear a particular color dress at every month’s end for the color day celebration. We provide other color balloons, tie color bands on their hands and provide coloring worksheets to make them learn different colors.

Rainbow Colour Celebration

The colors of the rainbow are a powerful reminder that diversity is a natural and beautiful part of our world and that we should embrace and celebrate our differences rather than fear or reject them. The colors of the rainbow flag have specific meanings, such as red for life, orange for healing, yellow for sunlight, green for nature, blue for harmony, and purple for spirit. We celebrate it to teach little students about different color recognition. We organize many activities and games for the identification of colors and for the purpose of enjoyment and fun.

Gandhi Jayanti Celebration

Gandhi Jayanti is celebrated on October 2nd every year to commemorate the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, who is considered the father of the nation. Gandhiji was born on October 2, 1869, in Porbandar, Gujarat, India. On Gandhi Jayanti, we pay tribute to Gandhiji by organizing cultural competitions, fancy dress competitions on the theme of national leaders and freedom fighters, speech competitions, drawing activities and drawing competitions, etc. We celebrate it to explain to the students about the importance of Gandhiji and their sacrifice towards the nation.
